CIIR is a chlorobutyl rubber grade by Clwyd Compounders. It is a derivative of butyl rubber reacted with chlorine in a continuous process. Exhibits low gas permeability, excellent ozone resistance, good steam resistance and good fire resistance. CIIR is used in inner tire tubes and breathing apparatus for defense & fire services.
