EPON™ Resin 1124-A-80

EPON™ Resin 1124-A-80 by Westlake Epoxy is a brominated bisphenol A epoxy resin supplied as 80% solids by weight solution in acetone. This high viscosity resin produces flame retardant polymers. The chemical and thermal performance of this grade may be enhanced by blending with higher functionality resins such as EPON™ Resin 1031 and EPON™ Resin 164. This grade shows improved flow control during prepreg lamination. In addition, the higher molecular weight for EPON™ Resin 1124-A-80 can also lead to increased treater productivity since less resin advancement is needed to achieve a given level of prepreg flow. The shelf life of this product is 3 years.
