EPON™ Resin 58120 by Westlake Epoxy is carboxyl-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile (CTBN) modified solid epoxy resin with an elastomer content of 20%. It offers thermal shock, good fatigue resistance and good impact resistance. It is used for adhesion in functional pipe and thick film powder coatings as well as for electrical powders. EPON™ Resin 58120 is suitable for civil engineering (thin films & high-build), fiber & textile, aerospace composites, general composites, wind composite applications.
