Araldite® CY 179

Araldite® CY 179 by Huntsman is a low-viscosity, bis-(epoxycyclohexyl) methylcarboxylate based epoxy resin. Offers good electrical insulation performance and high temperature- & UV resistance. It provides high deflection temperature and excellent dielectric properties. Araldite® CY 179 is suitable for processing by casting, filament winding, automatic pressure gelation (APG), potting, pultrusion and vacuum pressure impregnation. Used in high temperature outdoor electrical & casting and filament winding applications. It is recommended for insulators, transformers, generators and motors.
