EPALLOY® 8240

EPALLOY® 8240 by Huntsman is a very low viscosity epoxy phenol novolac resin. It provides low hydrolyzable chloride content, a high degree of reactivity and outstanding chemical resistance. It is non-crystallizing and compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents. It can be blended with bisphenol A resins to eliminate crystallization. It can be used for electronic applications such as encapsulation and lamination. EPALLOY® 8240 is suitable for high temperature encapsulants or adhesives, conductive adhesives, prepregs & composites, coatings and sealant applications. Complies with REACH (EC) 1907/2006 regulation.
