1888 by Lion Elastomers is a styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) grade. It contains N-339 carbon black masterbatch (CBMB), mixed acid as an emulsifier, acid coagulant and staining antiozonant stabilizer. Provides high tensile properties, excellent abrasion resistance with low PCA RAE extender oil. 1888 is recommended for passenger tread compounds, retreads and low cost mechanical goods.
