MasterSil 170 Gel

MasterSil 170 Gel by Master Bond is a two component, low viscosity silicone material for sealing, potting and encapsulation. It is an addition cured system and does not require exposure to air for complete cross-linking. It has a convenient ten to one mix ratio by weight, contains no solvents and will not outgas while curing.
  • It offers high temperature & water resistance and superb electrical insulation properties.
  • It can cure in thicknesses beyond 1 inch.
  • It exhibits extreme softness, very low shrinkage upon cure, low exotherm, very long pot life, excellent optical clarity and transmission properties.
  • It withstands severe thermal cycling and resists vibration, shock, gamma radiation, ETO and various chemical sterilants.
  • It is used in optical, electronic parts, wire bonds, optical fibers, various chips, LEDs and resistors.
  • It has a shelf life of 6 months at 75°F, in original, unopened containers.
  • MasterSil 170 Gel is RoHS complaint and meets USP Class VI specifications.
