SE878 by Momentive Performance Materials is a silicone rubber with cure technology. Offers semi-conductivity, tight surface cure, electrically conductivity for EMI shielding and static bleed. SE878 is supplied as a three component system which, when properly blended, can be vulcanized by conventional curing methods including hot air. It must reach a minimum temperature of 182°C for 30 seconds for cross-linking to be initiated. It is oven cured at 175°C for 30 seconds to stabilize properties and improve compression set. Designed for processing by extrusion method.
