TSE 221-3U by Momentive Performance Materials is a general purpose, heat cured silicone rubber (HSR) based on peroxide catalyst system. It is a one-component, ready-to-use resin. Possesses low compression set and high clarity. It is easy to process & offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications include automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. TSE 221-3U complies with UL94HB rating.
