TSE 2277U by Momentive Performance Materials is a peroxide catalyst based, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR) having high durometer hardness. Exhibits good processability, rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Shows enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is a one-component, general purpose, ready-to-use resin. Provides low compression set and high clarity. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of TSE 2277U could be automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. Complies with UL94HB rating.
