TSE 2287U by Momentive Performance Materials is a heat cured, one-component silicone rubber (HCR). It is based on peroxide catalyst system. It is a general purpose, ready-to-use resin with high durometer hardness. Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Shows low compression set and high clarity. Offers good processability, rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of TSE 2287U range from automotive, aviation & aerospace to consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare sector.
