LS-6946 by Avantor is a translucent, pourable, optically clear, thermosetting silicone (SI) resin. It is available as two-part 1:1 mix ratio (Part A:B). It can be cured at room temperature or rapidly with heat. Offers good physical properties and a broad operating temperature range. Suitable for applications requiring index matching at 1.46. LS-6946 is designed for bonding, casting or injection molding of high performance optical components.
