CHLOROPRENE™ SND45 by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a gas impermeable, general purpose polychloroprene rubber. It is a high quality, dry resin with extremely slow crystallization rate. Possesses good electrical and low temperature properties. Exhibits improved mold release, low mold fouling, improved brittleness temperature and low shrinkage. It is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Possible applications could be solvent borne adhesives, anti-vibration engine mounts, wire & cable, gaskets, boots and seals. Other applications of CHLOROPRENE™ SND45 can be foamed sheets for wet suits or laptop covers, molded goods, bearing pads for bridge or road construction, belts and hoses for automotive and general industry.
