SEP-1411-U is a general purpose, silicone modified ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) by Shin-Etsu, containing 2.0/1.0 of C-12/SEP-BM curing agent. Provides sponge foaming, durability and high mechanical- & tear strength above 100°C. Shows heat-, weather-, chlorine-, steam-, hot water-, alkali-, acid- and low temperature resistance. Moreover, it allows sulfur cure. SEP-1411-U is suitable for processing by compression moldng. Used in rubber parts like plug boots.
