Durez® 33830 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a phenolic novolac resin available in the form of flakes (0.05 inches). Exhibits easy mold release and low free phenol content. Shows an extremely fast cure with the addition of hexamethylenetetramine. Durez® 33830 is suitable for use in foundry cores applications.
