Vyncolit® W5000

Vyncolit® W5000 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a phenolic novolac resin reinforced with short glass fiber and mineral. Exhibits very low coefficient of linear expansion and excellent dimensional stability. It is a perfluorooctansulfonate (PFOS) free grade. Offers high compressive strength and high heat resistance. Can be processed by compression, injection and transfer molding. Designed for automotive brake systems, disc, piston and other molded parts. Complies with RoHS2 (2011/65/EU) and REACH/SVHC. Vyncolit® W5000 also conforms to European Directive 2006/122/EC.
