Vyncolit® X659 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a phenolic novolac resin reinforced with graphite, mineral and short glass fiber. Possesses superior stiffness and excellent tribological properties. It does not contain perfluorooctansulfonate (PFOS). Shows high compressive strength, high heat resistance and low thermal expansion. Exhibits high dimensional stability and good chemical resistance against several fuels at elevated temperatures. Suitable for processing by compression, injection and transfer molding. Vyncolit® X659 is designed for automotive fuel systems applications. Conforms to REACH/SVHC, European Directive 2006/122/EC and RoHS2 (2011/65/EU).
