SKYPRENE® 505 by Tosoh is a sulfur-modified chloroprene rubber (CR). Exhibits excellent resistance to crystallization, heat and dynamic fatigue. Offers reduced mooney viscosity, excellent mechanical strength, tensile strength and tear strength. Provides vulcanization by addition of zinc oxide. SKYPRENE® 505 adhere easily to textiles and metals. Used in wet suits, belts, rolls, sponges, linings and industrial rubber goods.
