ELASTOSIL® R 401/50

ELASTOSIL® R 401/50 by Wacker is a high consistency silicone rubber. It is cured with 1.5% E (10 min/135°C), 0.7% C1 (15 min/165°C) and 1.2% C6 (15 min/165°C) curing agents. It exhibits good flexibility, high transparency, good processing and mechanical properties. It is suitable for processing by calendering, damping and seal, sheet, tube & profile extrusion. It is used in exhaust-pipe hangers, turbocharger hoses, membranes and extruded & molded parts of automotive, seals & gaskets, water & food contact and technical applications. ELASTOSIL® R 401/50 meets BfR and FDA 177.2600 regulation.
