ELASTOSIL® R 401/60

ELASTOSIL® R 401/60 by Wacker is a good processing, high consistency silicone rubber. It is cured with 1.5% E (10 min/135°C), 0.7% C1 (15 min/165°C) and 1.2% C6 (15 min/165°C) curing agents. Exhibits good flexibility, high transparency and mechanical properties. ELASTOSIL® R 401/60 is suitable for processing by calendering, damping and extrusion. Used in exhaust-pipe hangers, turbocharger hoses, membranes, cables and extruded & molded parts of automotive, seals & gaskets, water & food contact and technical applications. Meets BfR and FDA 177.2600 regulation.
