EPON™ Resin 161 by Westlake Epoxy is a multifunctional epoxidized phenolic novolac resin. It displays relatively low viscosity with good thermal stability. It can be used as the sole resin component or in combination with standard resins and HELOXY™ Modifiers normally used in epoxy formulations. It is capable of curing with all classes of curing agents. It offers superior chemical resistance and good thermal resistance. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 161 is 5 years.
