3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PFA 6910GZ

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PFA 6910GZ is transparent, water-based perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) fluorothermoplastic polymer dispersion with a solid content of 50%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 90 nm. Filler and color pigments can be added to the dispersion. Is suitable for coating formulations. For coating metal surfaces various techniques such as spray coating, roller coating and silk-screen coating can be employed. Possesses large operating temperature range, high shear stability and low settling tendency. Shows good chemical resistance, good non-stick properties and easy processability. It can improve substrate adhesion by use of suitable primer systems, increase the corrosion protection and gloss of the coating. Used in non-stick coatings for manufacturing cookware and baking tins (used pure or as an additive mixed with PTFE dispersions). Also used in impregnation of metal surfaces (anodized aluminum) where the nanoparticles in 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PFA 6910GZ are deposited into the pores of the metal which is improving the protection of the metal surface.
