3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 610GZ

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 610GZ is a melt-processable fluorothermoplastic containing tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Provides high transparency, good flexibility (but it is stiffer than the other grades of THV), bondability to itself and other substrates (for multi-layer constructions), low flammability, excellent performance with respect to dynamic testing and permeation resistance to fuels. Possesses excellent weatherability, thermal stability, UV stability, good anti-soiling properties and low refractive index. Used in extruded films, tubes, profiles, wire coatings and as a barrier layer in automotive fuel hoses and in protective layers in photovoltaic backsheets.
