3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 221AZ is a fluorothermoplastic containing tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. Is an E-beam crosslinkable grade. Processing profile allows co-processing with olefinic plastics and hydrocarbon elastomers. Provides high transparency, good flexibility, bondability to itself and other substrates, low flammability and balance of solvent processing. Possesses excellent weatherability, thermal stability, good anti-soiling properties and low refractive index. Allows welding with all common methods including high-frequency welding, low temperature fusion and solubility in common solvents. Used in cast coatings for films, wire & cable and architectural applications.
