3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5070GZ

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by 3M
3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5070GZ by 3M is a milky-white, water-based fluoropolymer dispersion reinforced with glass bubbles. The dispersion has a solid content of 50%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 120 nm and a density of 2.2 g/ml. Filler and color pigments can be added to the dispersion. Is suitable for coatings formulations. For coating metal surfaces various techniques such as spray coating, roller coating and silk-screen coating can be employed. Possesses large operating temperature range, small particle size and low settling tendency. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5070GZ shows good chemical resistance and good non-stick properties. Due to its small particle size the dispersion is used as an additive to conventional PTFE dispersions so as to achieve a better packing density to the films. These improvements can lead to less corrosion, improved abrasion characteristics and increased shine. Used in non-stick coatings for manufacturing cookware and baking tins. Complies with FDA, 21CFR 177.1550 and German Federal Ministry of Health (BGA).
