SX-0470:CM424 by AEI Compounds is a flexible, silane crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) grade. The graft component SX-0470 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 or CM493 generally in the ratio 95:5. Possesses good extrusion characteristics at normal output rates, with crosslinking off-line when exposed to moist conditions. SX-0470:CM424 is recommended for low voltage cable insulation.
