Fluon® LH-8000

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by AGC
Fluon® LH-8000 by AGC is an ETFE (tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer) grade. It has a functional group polymerized directly in to the chain backbone, allowing it to adhere to other materials. Exhibits excellent adhesion to other materials, such as polyamides, polyethylenes and metals. Also exhibits high transparency and low mold shrinkage. Possesses equivalent mechanical- & chemical resistance and electrical & non-stick properties to conventional ETFE resins. Offers lowest melting point of all the AH series resins, yet with the same desirable properties of other ETFEs, including non-stick nature and excellent processability. Shows very low corrosive off-gas levels at melt processing. Ideal for producing multi-layer structures in a one-step process without the need for surface treatment or a separate adhesive layer. It can be processed using co-extrusion. Potential markets include building & construction, food industry, pharmaceuticals, packaging and transport. Potential applications of Fluon® LH-8000 by AGC include chemical tubing, sealing layer for LIB aluminum laminates, film for steel plate laminates, rope lighting, multi-layer monofilament, air hose, chemical bags, rubber hose mandrels, hot water hose, multilayer chemical storage containers and interlayer insulation film for electronic substrates.
