MEGOLON® S552LD2 by Alphagary is a general-purpose, halogen-free and fire-retardant thermoplastic grade. It contains an additive to provide improved processing characteristics and exhibits enhanced resistance to degradation by hot water. It is recommended for cable sheathing applications. MEGOLON® S552LD2 meets with UK specification BS 7655:6.1 type LTS1 to LTS4, BS EN 50363-4-1 type TM1, Germany: DIN VDE 0207, part 24, type HM2 and HM4, Italy: CEI 20-11 types M1 and M9. Complies with Australasia: AS/NZS 3808 types HFS-90-TP and HFS-110-TP, International: IEC 60502-1 type ST8 and IEC 60092-359 type SHF1.
