TRISTAR® PC-05GFR

TRISTAR® PC-05GFR by Amco Polymers is an amorphous polycarbonate grade reinforced with 5% glass fiber. Exhibits good mold release, good thermal resistance, high heat resistance, fair chemical resistance, relatively high viscosity and low melt flow. Possesses high strength, tensile strength, toughness, color stability, flexural strength, flexural modulus and heat deflection temperature. Has decreased impact strength and tensile elongation but good electrical insulating properties. Offers excellent dimensional stability and good processability with low mold shrinkage and low mold temperature. It can be processed by injection molding. Suitable for electric meter, housings & covers, casket hardware, portable tool housings, safety helmets, computer parts and vandal-proof windows & light globes. TRISTAR® PC-05GFR has applications in equipment housings, exterior automotive components such as outdoor lighting fixtures, nameplates & bezels, non-automotive vehicle windows, brackets & structural parts, medical supply components and plastic lenses for eyeglasses. Complies with European RoHS/WEEE and REACH regulations.
