BL5 (GM 7746) by Amir Kabir Petrochemical is a general purpose, high density polyethylene (HDPE) having butene-1 as comonomer. It can be stabilized with Ca-Stearate, Irganox1010 and Irgafox168. Exhibits high molar mass, very good impact strength and optimum stress cracking resistance (ESCR). BL5 (GM 7746) is recommended for large containers above 5 litres capacity like petrol tanks and for the manufacture of semi-finished products.
