Kynar® 740 RED

Kynar® 740 RED by Arkema is a heat- & light stabilized, fluorinated thermoplastic homopolymer. This grade displays chemical resistance, imperviousness to UV, high barrier properties and high purity. It offers good mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties. It is a standard grade of granules for extrusion of tubes & plaques, compression & transfer molding. It is processed by profile- & sheet extrusion and thermoforming. Kynar® 740 RED is used in corrosion protection in the chemical industry, coating (co-extrusion), offshore and wire & cable applications. It is ANSI/NSF standard 61 certified.
