XYRON™ DG040

XYRON™ DG040 by Asahi Kasei is a flame retarded polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and polyphenylene ether (PPE) blend filled with 40% glass flakes. It exhibits low warpage and good dimensional stability.
  • It offers low fogging, improved flashing and barrier against gas & moisture.
  • It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • It is used in automotive applications such as lens barrels and lens spacers in various cameras installed in cars.
  • XYRON™ DG040 complies with UL 94 V-1 flame rating.
