GPPS 585 by Aschem Petrochemical Company is general purpose polystyrene grade. It is a crystal like, hard and brittle polymer with high molecular weight which imparts high tensile strength to end products. It is recommended for the manufacture of egg cartons and for insulation boards. It is suitable for biscuits and cake trays that require low odor. GPPS 585 is designed for use in packaging products. It can be processed by extrusion. It is developed for production of strong and tough extruded foam applications.
