Petra® 230 BK-112

Petra® 230 BK-112 is a thermoplastic polyester based on 100% post-consumer and post-industrial polyethylene terephthalate (PET) reinforced with 35 % glass fiber and mineral. Exhibits a very good combination of performance properties including high strength and stiffness with ductility at elevated temperatures, good electrical properties, ease of processing, good chemical resistance, dimensional stability and warp resistance. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for automotive door lock components, housings, gears and electrical & mechanical components. It is listed with TSCA, CA Prop. 65 and EPCRA 311/312.
