Ultradur® B 4040 G10 BK5110

Ultradur® B 4040 G10 BK5110 is a medium viscosity, semi-crystalline, saturated, thermoplastic polyester derived from polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) reinforced with 50 % glass fiber. Exhibits excellent surface finish, high rigidity & strength, good dimensional stability under heat, good impact resistance, very high resistance to wear, thermostability, sliding friction properties, good insulation properties, good impact strength, low water absorption, good resistance to chemicals & weathering, and excellent heat ageing behavior. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for automotive exterior, door handles, exterior mirror housings, rear screen and wiper arms. It is listed with TSCA, EPCRA 311/312 and CA Prop. 65.
