Ultramid® 8254 HS BK-102

Ultramid® 8254 HS BK-102 is a heat stabilized, impact modified, black pigmented PA6 grade. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, flexibility, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by extrusion. Used for tubing applications such as convoluted and emission tubing, cable jacketing and other types of automotive tubing. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
