Ultramid® A3EG10 FC Aqua sw23285 is a PA66 grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding and is suitable for plastic parts requiring material approvals for drinking water or direct food contact. Is approved according to 21 CFR FDA § 177.1500, 21 CFR FDA § 178.3297, European Food Contact European Food Contact Commission Regulation (EU) 10/2011 and GMP (EC) n°2023/2006. Complies with drinking water regulations of KTW, DVGW W270, WRAS, ACS and NSF.
