Ultramid® A3L BK7793

Ultramid® A3L BK7793 by BASF is a polyamide 66 grade. Is a heat stabilized, impact modified grade offering excellent surface appearance and exceptional scratch and mar resistance. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to abrasion, chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to abrasion, corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Ultramid® A3L BK7793 can be processed by injection molding. Used in automotive interior applications such as instrument panel bezels and door bezels.
