Ultramid® A3W Q601

Ultramid® A3W Q601 by BASF is a high flow and heat aging resistant polyamide 66 grade. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to abrasion, chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Ultramid® A3W Q601 is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Applications include highly stressed parts such as bearings, bearing cages, gear-wheels, coil formers and cable connectors.
