Ultramid® B3GK24 High Speed

ULTRAMID B3GK24 High Speed is a polyamide 6(PA6) grade reinforced with glass fibers and glass spheres. Flows at least 50% farther than standard PA6 that reduces the wall thicknesses, and thus the weight, of a plastic part. The product is optimized with the aid of BASF’s ULTRASIM™ simulation instrument. Possesses extremely low warpage, good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and exceptional sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at lower temperatures, high strength, rigidity, stiffness, good surface quality, design flexibility, reduced cycle times and ease of processing. Processed by injection molding and used for components in the engine compartment, such as engine covers and intake manifolds. Also used for pedals, part brackets and other vehicle components that must withstand a static load and heat aging.
