Ultramid® B3WG6 GIT BK807

Ultramid® B3WG6 GIT BK807 by BASF is a heat stabilized, black pigmented PA6 grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. It is paintable and offers excellent flow, UV stability, good toughness at low temperatures and high mechanical strength. It provides good rigidity & hardness, high stiffness, thermal stability and high impact resistance. It shows good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance in dry state and at low temperatures. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It can be processed by injection molding. It is recommended for applications such as door handles, roof racks and power tools. Ultramid® B3WG6 GIT BK807 is compliant with RoHS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
