Ultramid® C33

Ultramid® C33 is a polyamide 6/66 copolymer. Is a medium viscosity grade with lower melting point than standard PA6. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Is coextruded with temperature sensitive polymers like EVOH. Suited for the production of non-symmetric blown film with reduced curl. Applications include multilayer films and monofilaments. Is compliant with RoHS directive 2011/65/EC, WEEE directive 2002/96/EC and EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
