Ultramid® TKR 4355 G5 LS

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Ultramid® TKR 4355 G5 LS by BASF is a partially aromatic, reinforced polyamide 6 copolymer (PA 6T/6). It possesses good elastic, electrical & mechanical properties, high melting point, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides low shrinkage, low warpage, good toughness at low temperatures, high dimensional stability, rigidity, strength, stiffness and thermal stability, high impact strength, slow water absorption and good processability. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, greases, oils, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents such as glycol, ethers, esters, organic acids and aliphatic alcohols. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It is processed by injection molding. It is specially suitable for laser markable parts. Ultramid® TKR 4355 G5 LS is compliant with RoHS directive 2011/65/EC, WEEE directive 2002/96/EC and EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
