Borstar® HE6062

Borstar® HE6062 by Borealis is an odorless, bimodal, high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade with 2.5% carbon black. It provides high processability, reduced shrinkage, excellent toughness and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). It exhibits excellent weathering resistance, low water permeability and low heat deformation. It shows excellent abrasion-, scratch-, termite- and UV- resistance. It is designed for processing by extrusion method. Borstar® HE6062 is used in jacketing of energy and communication cables. It is an ideal solution especially for buried power cables. It complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
