BS2581 by Borealis is an odorless, general-purpose, recyclable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It exhibits high stiffness and very good environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). It offers chemical and oil resistance. It is designed for processing by extrusion blow molding method. BS2581 is used in manufacturing of household and chemical containers such as detergents, cleaners and motor oils. It is recommended for bottles and containers up to 10 litres. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
