MD231U by Borealis is a high heat stabilized, recyclable, polypropylene grade, reinforced with 20% mineral. It exhibits low gloss, high flow, low shrinkage, high aesthetic appearance, faster cycle time and productivity. It offers optimal stiffness & toughness, non-fogging, excellent dimensional stability, processability and non-stickiness. It shows absence of flow marks (tiger stripe-free) and broad processing window. It provides impact-, heat-, light-, chemical- and high scratch resistance. It possesses lower carbon & water footprint, sound damping behaviour and low discoloration. MD231U is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in air ducts, air filters, air conditioning parts and automotive under the bonnet parts. It UL registered under File E108112.
