EP 548S

EP 548S by Braskem is a high fluidity heterophasic polypropylene copolymer grade. It is a translucent/ white solid. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. Exhibits high rigidity and resistance to the average impact. It can be processed using injection molding. Due to its good organoleptic properties, it is recommended for use in packaging of food products that require low transfer of odor and taste, toys, thin-walled rigid containers, home utilities and others. EP 548S by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification.
