PCD 0140BR by Braskem is a translucent/ white, low melt flow rate, UV (ultraviolet) stabilized heterophasic polypropylene copolymer grade. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. Exhibits high impact resistance and high protection against thermal ageing. It can be processed using extrusion and coating. Designed for continuous use at high temperature. PCD 0140BR by Braskem is suitable for external three layers extruded polypropylene (topcoating) based coatings for corrosion protection of welded & seamless steel pipes (3LPP) and topcoating & undercoating in thermal insulation coating of steel pipes.
