IPETHENE® 470

IPETHENE® 470 by Carmel Olefins is a low density polyethylene grade, produced by high pressure autoclave technology. Exhibits good draw-down ability, low gel level with low neck-in and stable web properties. Offers excellent sealability with good moisture barrier properties, good adhesion to various substrates and very good organoleptic properties. Insoluble in water and can be processed using injection molding, blow molding, extrusion coating and compounding. Suitable for medium speed extrusion coating on various substrates like paper, cardboard, aluminium foil and flexible films. The coated substrates can be used for packaging of food, liquids, powders, chemicals and other industrial products. IPETHENE® 470 complies with Food Contact Regulations 1935/2004/EC, REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, WEEE, RoHS, EU/169/2010 and EC/1895/2006.
