Celanex® MT2008

Celanex® MT2008 is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits a good balance of mechanical properties & processability, high strength, rigidity & toughness, low creep even at high temperatures, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, paintability, good electrical properties, no environmental stress cracking, good weathering resistance, very good low friction and wear resistant properties. Offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and powerful insulation resistance, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases. Can be processed using melt blown extrusion. Recommended for medical applications.
